Steward stops offering to hire a bard
What happens
After you buy all the other improvements from your steward at a Hearthfire home, the option to hire a bard can disappear.
PS5-safe fix
UESP's fix: kill your horse or cow at the homestead, then go inside your home (and back outside if your steward is out there). The bard option should come back, along with the option to buy replacement livestock.
Prevention
Hire the bard before you buy the other steward improvements.
Always make a hard save before trying a fix.
