Harkon's bite kills you when you accept his gift
What happens
You accept Lord Harkon's offer to become a vampire, and you die when he bites you, sending you back to your last save.
PS5-safe fix
UESP's console-free fix: reload a save made after you entered Dimhollow Crypt, then wait 30 in-game days so dungeons, characters and shops reset, and carry on with the quest from there.
Prevention
Keep a hard save from after you enter Dimhollow Crypt.
Always make a hard save before trying a fix.
